Biography

Anne Rearick has been photographing New England weddings and events for the past decade. She combines a fine art background and documentary experience in her wedding photography to create timeless images that capture the spirit of your special day.

Rearick, an award-winning documentary photographer, has been a working artist for over twenty years. Rearick’s rich and evocative images of Basque life and culture in southwest France culminated in the publishing of Miresicoletea, a monograph published in 2002, by Editions Atlantica.  Recent projects include the culture of amateur boxing and documenting life in South Africa since the end of apartheid. Her photographs are housed in museums in the U.S. and abroad, including the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris and the Centre Nationale de L'Audiovisuel in Luxembourg. Rearick has been the recipient of numerous prizes and grants for her work, including a Fulbright fellowship and the Mosaique prize in Europe. Rearick is represented by Agence VU, Paris.
